Good evening, Central Florida. We're wrapping up the day for you with the most important stories you need to know and your weather outlook.
Your Weather Planner
LUNAR ECLIPSE: Keep an eye to the sky late tonight (if you can stay awake) from 1:09 a.m. to 3:31 a.m. Friday. A lunar eclipse will reach totality at 2:26 a.m. when the earth, sun and moon line up.
Although we'll have some thin clouds scooting through our sky on Friday and will call it filtered sunshine, we'll still warm back above average into the lower 80s for highs.
A mostly sunny and breezy Saturday is on the way as we heat into the upper 80s for highs. We keep the upper 80s around and increase the mugginess on Sunday. Morning sun will mix with afternoon clouds, and we'll keep an eye on Klystron 13 for storms upstream that will eventually impact central Florida later in the evening.
