The United States economy is bouncing back from the worst effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the recovery is not being experienced equally — with millions of families across the country still struggling to pay rent and put food on the table. Sophie Collyer from the Center on Poverty and Social Policy at Columbia University joined Errol Louis to discuss what the federal and state governments need to do to push back against widening inequality and prevent more Americans from falling into poverty.
