While there will be plenty of food, drinks and entertainment to choose from, the lilacs are the main attraction. There are over 1800 lilac bushes, with over 500 different varieties.

Temperature and precipitation outlook

The weather should be just about perfect during the run of the festival.

It looks like most days will have temperatures at to below average with highs in the 60s and 70s.

While drier than average conditions are expected across much of the Midwest, West New York is right on the cusp of having slightly drier than normal conditions mid-month.

Our precipitation outlook will remain near normal through the second weekend of the event, so a few days with rain and showers can't entirely be ruled out.

So be sure to get to the 125th Lilac Festival as we celebrate the arrival of spring in Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
