An incoming cold front will bring a line of downpours and potentially severe thunderstorms this evening.
After getting through the majority of the day unscathed, a line of downpours and thunderstorms will move through the region this evening.
Conditions for severe weather the next several hours look most favorable from the Capital Region, through the lower Hudson Valley, into NYC.
The main concern with thunderstorms this evening will be damaging winds in excess of 60mph, followed by poor drainage flooding due to torrential rain. While unlikely, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, especially around the Binghamton region.
