The Thanksgiving travel rush is underway and you may want to give yourself a little extra time at the airport this year as AAA estimates more than 4.5 million people are expected to take to the skies this holiday.

If you're hitting the road, you won't be the only one. Close to 49 million people will be driving to their destinations.
