A high pressure system over the area gave New Yorkers bright sunshine on Saturday, and conditions were seasonably warm as afternoon temperatures reached the low 80s.
We'll see more sunshine on Sunday, however a good deal of clouds could mix in at times. Temperatures will be seasonably warm again, with afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
Looking ahead, our next storm system makes its way into the region on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop during the late-morning hours, and stay in place through the evening. Highs will be in the low 70s. Some additional wet weather is likely Tuesday morning, but, the afternoon will be much brighter. Temperatures will be around 76 degrees. Skies then clear-out for Wednesday, and conditions will stay on the dry side. Look for highs in the mid 70s. Expect another chance of rain on Thursday.
