A low pressure system pushed a good deal of clouds and rain through the region on Saturday, and some fog was seen around the five boroughs as well. Conditions remained on the cool side, but, we did manage to break the 50-degree mark for the first time this month.
More wet weather is in store for Sunday, and a few downpours are possible as well, especially through the noon hour. Rain totals should end-up being in the 1 to 2-inch range for most of the area, but, a few locations could exceed the 2-inch mark. Conditions will remain on the cool side, but, temperatures are expected to reach the 50s once again.
Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday will be brighter and drier, but, keep those umbrellas on standby because more raindrops are expected on Wednesday and Thursday. We'll start out the week in the low to mid 40s, but, temperatures are expected rise into 50s again by Wednesday. Thursday is looking unseasonably mild as well, but, temperatures will drop back into the low 40s on Friday.
