Gov. Kathy Hochul is facing a tough political climate.

A new Marist Poll out Tuesday shows her approval rating is stuck at just 39%.

The poll surveyed more than 1,200 New York state residents from April 3 to April 9.

The findings paint a bleak picture not just for Hochul but for New York’s overall mood, showing that declining economic confidence and concerns over affordability.
