The NYC Indie film, “Beyond the Rush,” is creating some buzz in the film festival circuit.

The film was over 30 years in the making for director and writer Robert Sayegh, who saved for the past eight years to fund the project himself.

Sayegh joined “The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to discuss this film, along with one of the stars of the movie, actor Frankie Faison.

The film follows a rising investigative journalist and high functioning addict who finds himself at a crossroads dealing with mental health issues, childhood traumas, and pressures of starting a new family.
