The TCS New York City Marathon is this week.

Tens of thousands of runners from around the world will take part in the 26.2 mile race through the five boroughs on Nov. 3.

The route starts on Staten Island and finishes in Central Park.

While runners prepare for the big race, it is also a huge day for the people who make it happen.

Rob Simmelkjaer, New York Road Runners CEO, joined “The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to discuss the marathon.
