On April 1, 2022, workers at the JFK8 Amazon warehouse on Staten Island made history when they won an election to become the first unionized Amazon workplace in America.

A new film is chronicling the workers’ path toward unionization and offering an inside look at the experience inside the warehouse.

The movie is called "Union," and it was directed by Stephen Maing and Brett Story.

Chris Smalls, founder of the Amazon Labor Union, joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday to discuss the new documentary.
