A number of productions are searching for new venues after they were told they could no longer use the Connelly Theater.
The building’s landlord is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York.
The directors and producers said the Archdiocese has been cracking down on which shows could use the space.
This comes as the theater’s general manager resigned last week.
Danielle DeMatteo, founder and artistic director of SheNYC Arts, which has been using the theater for eight years, joined “The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to discuss more.
