The new film “Fresh Kills” is set to be released in theaters Friday.

It’s a film by Jennifer Esposito. Esposito wrote, directed, produced, acted and financed the film.

“Fresh Kills” is a classic mob film, with a focus on the female perspective. The film takes place on Staten Island.

Esposito joined “The Rush Hour” on Wednesday to talk all about the film and her journey to making it.
