Rudin Management is one of the largest privately owned real estate companies in the city.

The company has been a family business for four generations, growing from its first project, a multi-family building in the Bronx, in 1925, to currently overseeing nearly 5 million square foot of residential space, and over 10 million square foot of commercial office buildings.

Co-Executive Chairman Bill Rudin joined “The Rush Hour” on Tuesday to discuss the state of the real estate market, how the city is doing on other fronts, and what it’s like to run a family business.
