On Jan. 27, some New Yorkers may have caught sight of a public art installation that rolled out across the city.

It was Holocaust Remembrance Day, and an organization called “Live2Tell” marked the occasion by projecting portraits of survivors along with their own words on nearly two dozen city landmarks and building facades.

One of those images was of Toby Levy, a Holocaust survivor. Photographer Gillian Laub made her portrait and the others, and planned the massive and moving installation.

Toby Levy and Gillian Laub joined “The Rush Hour” in an exclusive interview Monday to talk more about the installation.
