Army West Point football is giving a preview of what will be in store this season as the Black Knights took the field for their spring game.
Quarterback Dewayne Coleman shined as he led the black team to a 16-14 win. The senior had the longest play of the game with a 58-yard touchdown run.
"Throughout the practice, we've been able to stay constant and build on what we left off last year and incorporate the new pieces we have," said Coleman.
"Dwayne's got the most experience and right now he's the top quarterback, but I mean there's going to be some good healthy competition when we get into the season camp for that position," said head coach Jeff Monken.
Army West Point kicks off its 2025 season on Aug. 29 against Tarleton State at Michie Stadium.
