New York will send center Robin Lopez, and guards Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant, to Chicago in exchange for Rose, Justin Holliday and a future second-round draft pick.
Rose is a three-time all-star and was named league MVP back in 2011. But the Bulls guard has battled through injuries in recent years, missing more than 200 games over the past four seasons.
This season, Rose averaged 16 points and nearly five assists per game with the Bulls.
