Cheryl Wills is joined by Kate Doran of the League of Women Voters and three other voting activists. They are all working to get those groups that are expected to influence this election most out to the polls. Michaela Bethune of Dosomething.org tells us why young people vote in incredibly low numbers, and why she’s working to make this year different. Geoffrey Eaton talks about his efforts to get more African-American men, and young men and women in general, out to vote. And Candis Tolliver, the Deputy Political Director for Local 32BJ of the SEIU, tells us about how she’s not only focusing on getting African-Americans to the polls, but also members of her union, once a truly reliable voting bloc.
