The last of the gang members involved in the gruesome 2018 murder of 15-year-old Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz have been sentenced to prison, bringing the case to a close, prosecutors say.

Danel Fernandez, 26, received an 18-year prison sentence; Ronald Urena, 33, and Jose Tavarez, 26, received 15-year prison sentences; and Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion, 30, and Danilo Payamps Pacheco, 26, received 12-year prison sentences on Friday after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter, the Bronx district attorney’s office said.

A sixth defendant, 29-year-old Luis Cabrera Santos, was sentenced to 12 years in prison earlier this week after pleading guilty to the same charge, the DA’s office said.

All six men, who were members of the “Los Sures” set of the Trinitarios gang, were also sentenced to five years’ post-release supervision, according to the DA’s office.

Prosecutors said the six men were part of a group of gang members who chased Junior into a bodega in the Belmont section of the Bronx on June 20, 2018 after mistaking him for a rival gang member.

After the six men dragged Junior out of the bodega, five other gang members fatally attacked him with knives and a machete, according to prosecutors.

The five men prosecutors said attacked Junior were sentenced to prison in 2019. Two other men accused of ordering the murder were sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in September.

In a statement, Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark called the actions of the six men sentenced this week “unconscionable.”

“The shocking viral video of the attack left the Bronx community — and the world — horrified at such complete disregard for human life,” Clark added.
