A woman’s former boyfriend was charged with killing her while she was pushing a stroller on the Upper East Side, the NYPD said.
Issac Argro, 22, of Brooklyn was arrested and charged in the death of Azsia Johnson, 20, who was walking with her 3-month-old daughter in a stroller when she was shot in the head on East 95th Street and Lexington Avenue Wednesday night, the NYPD said.
According to police, Argro is Johnson's ex-boyfriend and believed to be the baby's father.
Argro was charged Saturday evening with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
