TEXAS — The lone vice presidential debate this week may not have moved the needle much with voters. They rarely do. But one thing Texans and Americans noticed was the civility between Republican JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz.
On multiple occasions, the two candidates noted they agreed on key issues but disagreed on the solutions.
On this week’s “Inside Out” segment, former Texas House Speaker Dennis Bonnen, R-Angleton, and former state Rep. Mark Strama, D-Austin, discussed the candidates’ ability to agree to disagree in a remarkably civil way.
