“I'm absolutely ready,” she said during an appearance on ABC's “The View.” “I've been ready. I'm hoping with all of my heart that they call me because, as I showed on the stand against Michael Avenatti, I don't need someone to speak for me.”

Daniels was referring to the trial of Avenatti, her former attorney, who was convicted and sentenced in 2022 to 14 years in federal prison for stealing millions of dollars from his clients, including Daniels, and committing tax fraud.

“I relish the day that I get to face him [Trump] and speak my truth,” Daniels added.

Daniels claims she had an affair with Trump in 2006. The former president has denied the accusation.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg alleges Trump reimbursed his former lawyer Michael Cohen for paying Daniels to prevent her from going public with her story and potentially hurting Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The former president then illegally falsified business records to conceal the payments, prosecutors say.

Trump has pleaded not guilty to all 34 charges in the case.

Last year, Daniels said she does not believe Trump should receive a prison sentence if he’s convicted in the case involving her

On Monday, Judge Juan Merchan denied a motion from Trump’s lawyers to block Daniels and Cohen from testifying.

The trial had been scheduled to begin Monday, but Merchan last week agreed to postpone it until at least mid-April after Trump’s lawyers argued they have not had enough time to review more than 100,000 pages of documents from a previous federal investigation that they recently received.

New York prosecutors on Thursday urged Merchan to start the trial April 15, saying the defense's calls for further delays or dismissal of the case because of the last-minute evidence dump were a “red herring.”

Daniels is the subject of a new documentary, “Stormy,” which is streaming exclusively on Peacock.

She said has received threats since she began speaking publicly in 2018 about her alleged affair with Trump. Daniels said the threats are less frequent today, but “they’re more vicious because they’ve been encouraged — and commended.”

“And they're not hiding,” she said. “I've had people text me from their actual phone number. And I'm just like, ‘Of course you're a Trump supporter because you're not even good at being bad.’

“They've been rewarded,” she continued without elaborating. “I said in some interview or somewhere, I believe that they're more like suicide bombers this time around, where they honestly, truly believe that they are being patriotic and that I am, like, the devil.”
