NEW YORK — Democrat Carlos Menchaca announced his candidacy for mayor last week, joining a crowded field. He's a well-known councilman in Brooklyn, and he's now hoping that his positions on issues like housing and development will help him court voters.

Menchaca sits down with Errol Louis to discuss his candidacy, and his opposition to the Industry City rezoning.
