With the many entertainment choices New York City has to offer, it can be difficult to make a choice. Look no further. “On Stage” host Frank DiLella has curated a list of “must-see” shows this week, directing you to the best of Broadway, Off-Broadway and beyond.

“The Welkin”

Television star Sandra Oh returns to the New York stage in the Atlantic Theatre Company’s American premiere of “The Welkin.” Described as a dark and funny play about democracy and housework, Oh takes on the role of Lizzy Luke, an 18th century midwife caught up in a trial. “The Welkin” is playing through July 7.

“Dark Noon”

Over in Brooklyn at St. Ann’s Warehouse, don’t miss “Dark Noon.” In this Wild West circus of sorts, “Dark Noon” takes on U.S. history that is both horrifying and deeply profound, through the eyes of Native Americans, cowboys, enslaved Africans and others. “Dark Noon” is running through Sunday.

“Henry IV”

Heading to the Upper East Side, this weekend at Carl Schurz Park, check out New York Classical Theatre’s production of “Henry IV.” Shakespeare’s history play will be performed in the park Friday through Sunday — tickets are free.

Suzan-Lori Parks in “Tell Me More”

And finally heading all the way across town to Little Island, Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Suzan-Lori Parks will be front and center from July 10 to July 14 with a series titled “Tell Me More.” Her shows are being billed as part performance and part conversation, and each evening will be based around a pair of ideas that will feature a musical act.
