“Heart of Rock and Roll”

The Huey Lewis musical “Heart of Rock and Roll” will play its final performance this Sunday. Don’t miss this all out 80s party starring Corey Cott and McKenzie Kurtz. “Heart of Rock and Roll” is playing at The James Earl Jones Theatre.

Broadway Bares

And speaking of parties, the annual burlesque extravaganza benefit Broadway Bares will take place on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. and midnight at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This year’s show is titled “Hit The Strip” and will benefit the not-for-profit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

“A Little Night Music”

Stephen Sondheim’s glorious score of “A Little Night Music” will take center stage this week at Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall. The evening will feature orchestrations by 2024 Tony Award-winner Jonathan Tunick and performances by Cynthia Erivo, Susan Graham, Marsha Mason, Ruthie Ann Miles — all backed by the 53-piece Orchestra of St. Luke’s. “A Little Night Music” will be performed Thursday through Saturday.

Alexis Michelle in “Heroine Worship”

On Tuesday night, RuPaul Drag Race sensation Alexis Michelle will perform her show “Heroine Worship” at Joe’s Pub. Join Michelle as she pays tribute to her long list of favorite lady legends — such as Judy, Liza, Chita, Barbra and Bea Arthur.

“Alex Newell and the Gospel of a Diva”

And finally, speaking of divas, Tony Award-winning powerhouse Alex Newell is taking on a new solo show titled “Alex Newell and the Gospel of a Diva.” In her act, Newell will share stories from their life and career, and, of course, perform their favorite tunes. Newell will play The Minetta Lane Theatre Thursday through Saturday.
