In the fall, Hollywood superstar Samuel L. Jackson returned to the stage in the first Broadway revival of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize winning play “The Piano Lesson.”
Jackson received a 2023 Tony nomination for his portrayal of the character Doaker Charles, the owner of the household where the play is set, and where the family’s piano rests.
The show marked a homecoming of sorts for Jackson, and the revival proved to be history-making in more ways than one.
We recently sat down with Jackson at his home in Los Angeles, California.
