Guy Brown is a meteorologist at Spectrum News NY1. He was born in Washington, D.C., and graduated from Towson University with a degree in Electronic Media and a minor in Meteorology. Guy holds the broadcaster's Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association and completed the three-year program in Geoscience at Mississippi State University with a concentration in Broadcast of Operational Meteorology. 

He joined "Mornings On 1" in September 2023, arriving from KARE-11 TV in Minneapolis-St Paul. Guy’s forecasting experience spans multiple states and climates around the United States, ranging from the blizzards of Wyoming to inclement weather in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He has covered scorching heat, wildfires, tornadoes, floods, and bone-chilling temperatures. His passion is keeping our audiences informed and safe when severe weather strikes.

Guy is the author of several children's books, including "Look Up to See What the Weather Will Be," which was a 2022 national finalist for the Kids’ Book Choice Awards.

He lives with his wife and always enjoys sipping a nice cup of coffee, tasting red wines, painting, reading, building model cars, golfing, and walking around the park on a sunny day.
