Justine Re has been a reporter/anchor at Spectrum News NY1 since 2018.

Justine has held many roles during her time at NY1. She started as a freelance news reporter and became a full-time traffic anchor in 2019. Since then, she has worked as a reporter and a multimedia journalist, and has filled in at the anchor desk.

Over the past few years, she has covered a wide array of breaking news stories and features.

Justine’s assignments of note include COVID-19 and its impact on New York City, reports on Ukrainian refugees, and the fall of Silicon Valley Bank . Some of her favorites include the NYPD’s efforts to incorporate more sign language in its ranks, and reporting on New York Fashion Week each year.

When she’s not in the newsroom, you can find her doing yoga, singing, emceeing events across the city, and at the beach on Long Island, where she grew up, with family and friends.
