Originally from Bethlehem, Pa., Jessica is no stranger to Bergen County – her grandparents lived in the area for more than 30 years. Jessica is an award-winning journalist whose stories have received national exposure on CBS and CNN Headline News.
Jessica received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Her on-air career has taken her to the Local Edition of CNN Headline News (RCN Cable) in Bath, Pa.; affiliates WKYT-TV (CBS) and WDKY-TV (FOX) in Lexington, Ky.; and to WCAX-TV (CBS) in Burlington, Vt.
Some of her most memorable assignments include investigating wrongful conviction cases in Chicago, covering politics on Capitol Hill, and traveling to Poland to produce a documentary on the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
In May 2007, Jessica was one of the youngest people in the country to be named a Regional Finalist for the White House Fellows Program.
When she is not in the newsroom, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, rooting for the Giants, and running. She also keeps busy by educating students around the country about Jarrett Mynear, a 13-year-old boy who started "Jarrett's Joy Cart" while battling cancer.
Joanne Santiglia

Joanne started her career at Time Warner Cable’s Channel 10 News as a freelancer, reviewing films and producing stories on local theater. She became a general assignment reporter in 1982 and eventually became a full-time anchor and news director. While at Channel 10 News, she produced the Cable Ace-nominated news magazine show "Panorama," and wrote and narrated "Silent No Longer," a New York Emmy Award-nominated PBS documentary about New Jersey breast cancer survivors.
Joanne is a member of the New Jersey Press Club and the Society of Professional Journalists. She graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University.
Rosemary Shultz
Reporter
Rosemary graduated magna cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in French, in which she is fluent. She began working as a general assignment reporter at KEYC-TV, a CBS station in southern Minnesota. She moved quickly to become the weekend anchor and left KEYC having anchored the morning and midday shows for two years.
She came to NY1 to work as an anchor and reporter in the Local Edition in 2009.
