CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — As the May 6 primary draws near, the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections is urging voters to check their polling locations as many precincts have new voting locations for the election.

Within Cleveland, there are more than 250,000 voters, 254 precincts and 93 voting locations. Because of the city moving from 17 wards to 15, Cleveland has new wards, precincts and voting locations. Voting changes also occurred in Cleveland’s suburbs, affecting 31,127 voters. 

The board has sent notification letters for the past two months for those affected. 

New notification letters are also being sent to voters in Cleveland Ward 3, Precinct M as there is an emergency voting location change. The Quinn Chapel is closed for voting because of maintenance issues. The 929 voters affected will now cast their votes at the Murtis Taylor Human Services Center at 13411 Union Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44120.

Several suburbs of Cleveland have also had voting changes ahead of the primary.

Brooklyn

In Brooklyn, voters in three precincts have been moved out from the Brooklyn High School at 9200 Biddulph Road

Voters in Brooklyn Precinct B will now vote at the Brooklyn Senior Community Center School at 7727 Memphis Avenue. Meanwhile, voters in Brooklyn Precincts D and G will now vote at Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church at 4470 Ridge Road.

Euclid

 

For Euclid voters, three precincts have been moved from the Euclid Public Library at 631 East 222nd Street.

Voters in Ward 8, Precinct A will cast their votes at the Arbor Elementary School at 20400 Arbor Avenue. Voters in Ward 8, Precinct D will now vote at Our Lady of the Lake located at 175 East 200th Street.

Voters in Ward 5, Precinct C will vote at the Euclid Lakefront Community Center at 1 Bliss Lane.

Lakewood

 

Two precincts in Lakewood have been moved from the Lincoln Elementary School at 15615 Clifton Boulevard.

Voters in Lakewood Ward 2, Precincts A and C will cast their votes at the Lakewood Women’s Club Pavilion at 14532 Lake Avenue.

South Euclid

 

In South Euclid, one precinct has been moved from the Vics Event Center at 1512 South Green Road.

Voters in Ward 2, Precinct D will now cast their ballots at the South Euclid Community Center at 1370 Victory Drive.

Maple Heights

 

Voters from four precincts in Maple Heights have been moved out of the Abraham Lincoln Elementary School at 6009 Dunham Road.

From Ward 1, Precincts A and B and Ward 2, Precincts A and B, voters will now cast their ballots at the Maple Heights Board of Education at 5740 Lawn Avenue.

North Royalton

 

For North Royalton, voters from four precincts have been moved from the North Royalton Christian Church at 5100 Royalton Road.

Voters in Ward 4, Precincts A, B, C and D will cast their votes at the North Royalton Elementary School at 16400 State Road.

Warrensville Heights

 

Six precincts have been moved from the Warrensville Heights Senior Center at 4567 Green Road in Warrensville Heights. 

Voters in Wards 1, 2, and 3 from Precincts A and B will cast their ballots at Mount Zion Fellowship at 4265 Northfield Road.

Meanwhile, five precincts have been moved from Mount Zion Fellowship.

Voters in Ward 5, Precinct A and B, Ward 6, Precinct A and Ward 7, Precincts A and B will vote at the Warrensville Heights Senior Center at 4567 Green Road.
