WOOSTER, Ohio — Calling hours and funeral arrangements have been set for Town and Country Fire District Lt. Paul Mickolick.
Mickolick, 43, died when he was struck by a vehicle when he was helping a driver on the side of Stratton Road on April 18 in Wayne County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
In a press release shared on the fire district’s social media, they confirmed that calling hours will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. on April 26 at Church of the Savior, located at 480 Fry Road in Wooster.
They ask any fire service members wanting to pay respects arrive at 3:30 p.m., with a fire service viewing occurring at 4 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. the following day at the church, followed by a processional to the West Salem Cemetery.
Donations to the family can be dropped off at 60 N. Lincoln St. or sent via mail to P.O. Box 175, West Salem, OH 44287. Donations should be made to Rachel Mickolick. There is also a Gofundme accessible through the department’s Facebook page.
