GREEN BAY, Wis. — After an eventful day one, from the Packers’ pick of Texas’ Matthew Golden to a larger than expected attendance, people had to fend off the rain for most of the day Friday.
The rain cleared in the early evening as thousands of fans packed the NFL Draft stage outside of Lambeau Field to see the second and third round draft picks.
According to Adam Schefter, attendance on Friday for rounds two and three was 175,000. That gives Green Bay a two-day total of 380,000, per a league official.
In the second round, the Packers selected tackle Anthony Belton from North Carolina State. In the third round, the Packers selected Savion Williams from Texas Christian University.
