CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers are ready to take the court for the first game of the 2025 playoffs. The entire organization has been preparing for the playoffs.
There’s new food, new gear and exciting new fan experiences and giveaways for fans.
Alyson Ambrookian, the senior director of integrated marketing for the Cavs, said fans who attend the game Sunday night get a t shirt and a rally towel. There is also a fan fest on East 4th street and for away games during the playoffs they will host watch parties at bars.
“We’ve had 141 consecutive sellouts so its really the fans they can bringing the energy they keep bringing everything we need to get to where we are,” Ambrookian said.
Fans who do attend the game, better come hungry. Adam Zann, the general manager of Aramark at Rocket Arena, explained some of the new food they are serving up for the playoffs.
“If you’re really looking for a challenge we’ve got Rocco’s 12 inch mozzarella stick. It is over a pound of cheese in there, breaded with a signature marinara sauce which is really really great. Another cool item with Chef Matt of Flour Pizza Kitchen and its a spicy cavatelli vodka pesto pizza. Its got cavatelli pasta on it its got some great flavor, its a little bit heavier, but man is it good,” Zann said.
Zann hopes the new additions add to the fan experience.
“Its an exciting time, you know, we want the food and beverage and overall experience in this arena to really reflect you know what an amazing achievement it is to be in the playoffs,” Zann said.
The Cavs also dropping some new gear for the playoffs. Ben Adams, the vice president of marketing for the Cavs, explained.
“We have the best fans in the league, the best team in the Eastern Conference and now we’ve got some of the best merchandise to get you ready for the playoffs,” Adams said.
There will be even more gear if the Cavs advance.
“We’ll be infusing new product throughout the run as long as we’re playing basketball here at Rocket Arena,” Adams said.
Ambrookian explained that they keep fans top of mind while planning the playoffs.
“This is what it’s all about. The playoffs is a culmination of our fans helping us get to this point so we really want to give back them, make this the most incredible experience they can have,” she said.
