AUSTIN, Texas — This year’s Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) has announced their music lineup and a country superstar is expected to leave their musical mark.
Austin City Limits Hall of Famer Garth Brooks, Norwegian DJ Kygo and the Turnpike Troubadours have been announced as headliners for the race weekend in October.
Garth Brooks: Saturday, Oct. 18
Kygo: Friday, Friday, Oct. 17
Turnpike Troubadours: Sunday, Oct. 19 (after the Grand Prix)
Brooks and Kygo will take center stage on the Germania Insurance Super Stage. Single-day tickets to the race and music lineup show went on sale Tuesday.
Tickets can be purchased here.
Single-day ticket prices for Friday start at $89 and single-day Saturday tickets start at $179. Sunday prices will be coming soon.
Sunday tickets have yet to be announced.
COTA is taking a shift away from last year’s performances when headliners were Sting and Eminem.
If you want to see Garth Brooks sooner, “Austin City Limits,” an hour-long special honoring the country musician will broadcast on PBS May 3. The concert will also be available for streaming online at pbs.org.
