ST. LOUIS–With severe weather and heavy rains expected in St. Louis later this week, the Savannah Bananas decided to postpone the Banana Ball games planned at Busch Stadium. Now, attendees will need to wait until July for the games.
“After many conversation with the St. Louis Cardinals organization, the Banana ball games in St. Louis on April 4 and April 5, 2025, have been rescheduled due to inbound severe weather and heavy rains in the St. Louis area,” said Savannah Bananas in an email sent out to ticketholders. “We understand this completely changes everyone’s plans, but this is the safest option. We’ve identified dates in July so that the show can go on!”
Both of the rescheduled games will begin at 7 p.m. and tickets will automatically transfer to the same day of the week as originally planned but a few months later. Ticketholders for April 4’s game will now have tickets for July 18 and holders for April 5 will now have tickets for July 19. The seats that are listed on the April tickets will be the same seats for July and parking passes will be honored for the new dates too.
Savannah Bananas also provided an option for ticketholders to request a ticket credit that could be applied to a 2026 world tour scheduled event. However, dates for next year’s events will not release until October. Those that use the ticket credit will not have to join the ticket lottery for 2026.
The Saint Louis Cardinals also posted the information and added that people who purchased tickets through them will receive information from them.
Temporarily, Savannah Bananas ticket transfers will be paused and holders will be notified when they can transfer again.
“Appreciate you! Looking forward to seeing you in July. Love you lots!” said the Banana Ball Ticket Team.
Some of the players were already in town ahead of Friday's game. Anthonino's Taverna on the Hill posted a picture on Facebook with some of the team member's eating Tuesday night. Guess they will be able to enjoy another meal there this summer.
