The organization posted on Facebook that is will not cancel the event, instead, said it is launching the 45for45 campaign, which aims to gather donations from citizens to help replace the loss of funds.

The campaign is also about commeorating Pride's 45 years of advocacy, support and celebration.

"This anniversary is a testament to the strength, resilience and love within our community. While we ar deeply disappointed the Anheuser-Busch has chosen to step away from spporting PrideFest this year, we remain hopeful that the community will step up where they have stepped down," Marty Zuniga, President of Pride St. Louis.
