There's always plenty to do in Ohio over the weekend, but Spectrum News 1 gathered some of the highlights around each major metropolitan area across the state.

Cleveland
- When and where: 5 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. on Nov. 8-10 at Rockside Station, located at 7900 Old Rockside Road in Independence

- Info: This adventure from the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad takes families on a holiday-themed train ride with special guests, hot chocolate and more. Rides go through Dec. 21
- When and where: 12-2 p.m. Nov. 9 at Sora, located at 1121 West 10th Street in Cleveland
- Cost: Tickets cost $65 per person
- Info: Learn how to make sushi from the restaurant's executive sushi chef, enjoy food and drink and take home some mementos
Columbus
- When and where: Various times on Nov. 9-10, Nov. 16-17 at the Ohio History Center, located at 800 E. 17th Ave. in Columbus
- Cost: Included with museum admission
- Info: Learn about Ohio military history through various events including an exhibit on civil war flags, a WWI display and more
Family friendly library concert
- When and where: 3 p.m. on Nov. 10 at the Columbus Metropolitan Library Hilliard Branch, located at 4500 Hickory Chase Way
- Cost: This event is free
- Info: The first in a series of free concerts at library branches in central Ohio, this event features the ProMusica Woodwind Quintet
Cincinnati
Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market
- When and where: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Nov. 9 and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Sharonville Convention Center, located at 11355 Chester Rd.
- Cost: Admission for adults is $14 at the door or $13 if ordered in advance online, with children 12 and under free
- Info: Find holiday gifts, sing along with carolers and try some food at this annual event
Disenchanted! A New Musical Comedy
- When and where: Nov. 1-17, 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays, at The Loveland Stage Company, located 111 S 2nd St. (Rt 48)
- Cost: Tickets cost $20
- Info: If you're interested in a musical comedy complete with adult jokes and content, look no further
Dayton
- When and where: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Nov. 9 and 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at St. Peter Church Family Life Center, located at 6161 Chambersburg Road in Huber Heights
- Info: Check out vendors, food, raffles and more at this event where proceeds go toward St. Peter School and Preschool
The 54th Annual Dayton Book Fair
- When and where: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 9-10 at the new Montgomery County Fairgrounds, located at 645 Infirmary Road
- Cost: Free admission
- Info: Whether you're looking to donate books or purchase them (with the funds going toward various non-profits), the Dayton Book Fair says their annual sale is the largest of its kind in the state
Toledo
- When and where: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9-10 at the Cedar Point Sports Center, located at 2403 Cleveland Rd in Sandusky
- Cost: Admission is $2
- Info: See more than 150 vendors selling items ranging from quilts to pottery to yard decor, and grab a variety of deserts and other food items at this craft and vendor show
- When and where: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 4256 Secor Road in Toledo
- Cost: General admission is $2
