There's always plenty to do in Ohio over the weekend, but Spectrum News 1 gathered some of the highlights around each major metropolitan area across the state.

Here's some of this weekend's events:

Cleveland

Downtown Cleveland Halloween Bar Crawl

  • When and where: Oct. 25, 26 and 31 at various venues in Cleveland, times vary see website for details
  • Cost: General admission tickets cost $30 on Saturday, $25 on other days
  • Info: This is your chance to show off your best Halloween costume and bar hop with others in Cleveland complete with costume contests, music and more

Halloween Drive-Thru

  • When and where: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25-27 at Lake Metroparks Farmpark, located at 8800 Euclid Chardon Rd. in Kirtland
  • Cost: Tickets cost $27.50 for the carload and can only be purchased online
  • Info: Visitors can drive their car through the park at night, complete with "playfully frightful sites"

Columbus

Highball Halloween

  • When and where: 2 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 26 on High Street from Goodale to Vine and along Park
  • Cost: The event is free
  • Info: Calling itself the "nation's most elaborate costume party," consider attending for the costume contest, performances, live DJs, food trucks and more

Running Scared 5k

  • When and where: The 5k run/walk and one mile run/walk begin at 10 a.m. on Oct. 26 at Canal Winchester High School
  • Cost: Registration is $45 for the 5k and $10 for the one mile
  • Info: Participants are encouraged to wear their costumes for the run/walk and will also receive a race shirt, bib and medal, and the best costumes will also receive a prize

Cincinnati

Cincinnati Coffee Festival

  • When and where: Oct. 26-27 at the Cincinnati Music Hall, located at 1241 Elm Street
  • Cost: Ticket prices vary, see website for details
  • Info: If you like coffee, this is the place to be if you want to catch roasters, shops, bakers and more

HallZooween

  • When and where: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26-27 at the Cincinnati Zoo
  • Cost: This is free with zoo admission
  • Info: Attendees will experience trick or treat stations, a "Howarts Express" train ride, a scare-ousel and more

Dayton

Ohio Renaissance Festival

  • When and where: This event is recurring from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekends through Oct. 27 at 10542 Ohio 73 in Waynesville
  • Cost: Ticket prices vary based on day, package and age. See website for details
  • Info: Step back in time at the Ohio Renaissance Festival, where you can shop, eat and watch a variety of performances. Each weekend has a theme, and this last weekend is Heroes & Young Adventurers

Windmill Farm Market Spooktacular 2024

  • When and where: Sept. 21 through Oct. 27 at 1454 East State Route 73 in Springboro
  • Cost: They offer an all-inclusive $15 ticket or a $5 value ticket, see website for details
  • Info: This is the last weekend to enjoy the hayrides, farm animals, cornstalk tunnel and more at this fall event

Toledo

Toledo Brick Convention

  • When and where: Oct. 26-27, session times vary see website for details
  • Cost: Tickets cost $15 online and $20 at the door, but children 2 and younger are free
  • Info: At this Lego fan event, you'll have the chance to see large displays, meet Lego masters, purchase from brick vendors and more

Boo on the Boat

  • When and where: Oct. 25-27 at the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the Museum Tug Ohio at the National Museum of the Great Lakes
  • Cost: This is included with museum admission
  • Info: Enjoy trick-or-treating while learning some history at the same time during this event
