As Climate Week begins in New York City, leaders from business, tech, politics, academia and more are descending upon the five boroughs to take part in the largest annual event of its kind.
The week provides a platform for over 600 in-person and virtual events, set up by people and organizations that want to move the needle on climate action.
New York City’s Chief Climate Officer and Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection Rit Aggarwala joined “Mornings On 1” Monday to talk more about how climate change is impacting the city, and what New Yorkers can do in their everyday lives to reduce their carbon footprints.
