The rally began around 2 p.m. Saturday in Columbus Circle, and eventually made its way to the American Museum of Natural History. Police had set up barricades along Central Park West to block the protesters gaining entry into the museum.

Despite some heated moments, the rally was vocal but not violent.

Saturday’s protest coincided with the second day of a four day ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The release of a second group of hostages was delayed after Hamas accused Israel of not complying with certain terms of the agreement.
