ST. LOUIS—Anyone doing holiday shopping for St. Louis baseball fans may want to take note of an auction underway closing Sunday night, featuring more than 150 items from the estate of the late St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lou Brock.
Brock passed away Sept. 6, 2020. Caring Transitions of St. Charles and West St. Louis County says all the items are from Brock’s personal memorabilia collection and come with certificates of authenticity.
Among the things up for auction include game-worn cleats, socks and hats, an autographed piece of concrete from Busch Stadium and pictures, as well as items autographed by other players, including Hank Aaron, Stan Musial, Jim Palmer, Mickey Mantle, Albert Pujols and former President George Bush.
All bids start at $1.00. The auction begins to close starting Sunday Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. CT.
