According to a recent report, nearly a third of all four-year college students said they faced food insecurity at some point during their studies. Now, many are worried that number could grow even higher with inflation affecting food costs and pandemic-era SNAP benefits expiring.

Queens College opened up a pantry aiming to help out students with basic necessities. The pantry opened in 2018 and welcomes all CUNY students. Everything from canned goods to toiletries are available.
