You may have noticed NY1's Ruschell Boone hasn't been behind the anchor desk on News All Day for a little while now. She wanted us to let you know the reason behind that.

Ruschell is undergoing treatment for cancer.

Doctors discovered the growth recently on her pancreas. She is getting the best medical care, along with the loving support of her family, friends and colleagues.
