AUSTIN, Texas — Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, filmmaker Ron Howard, CNN’s Audie Cornish and Democratic Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke are just a few of the names announced by the South by Southwest festival Tuesday.
The festival returns to an in-person experience in Austin March 11-20 and released its last round of keynote and featured speakers.
Newly announced keynote speakers are:
- Music industry entrepreneur Nabil Ayers
- DAZN Group chairman Kevin Mayer
- MediaLink founder and CEO Michael E. Kassan
- Rappler CEO and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Maria Ressa
- Michelle Zauner of experimental pop band Japanese Breakfast
