NEW YORK — Some of the biggest names in music have graced the Beacon Theatre stage to rock out for a cause. The sixth Love Rocks NYC concert is Thursday, March 10, benefiting God's Love We Deliver. The SoHo-based organization cooks and delivers medically-tailored meals for New Yorkers too sick to cook or shop for themselves.

"It’s amazing, just amazing what they do here and the people they take care of, the people they feed," said actor and Brooklyn-native Steve Schirripa of "Bluebloods" and "The Sopranos" fame.
Schirripa co-host the big show, which this year features Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones in a reunion with his other band The X-Pensive Winos. It's a big deal because they haven't played together as a group in years.
"Not only that it's 30 years since Keith has been with the X-Pensive Winos but it's a one off, and it's happening at Love Rocks and Keith has been here before so he's obviously a huge supporter of God's Love We Deliver and we are just thrilled to have him headline the event," said Greg Williamson, another Brooklyn-native who is co-executive producing the event along with fashion designer John Varvatos and events producer Nicole Rechter.
Richards is joined by the legendary Mavis Staples, Hozier, Warren Haynes, Melissa Etheridge and a host of others. Since launching in 2017, the concert has helped raise $20 million, funding two million meals to New Yorkers in need. Founded in 1985, God's Love will deliver its 30 millionth meal this spring.
"We are making sure than anyone who needs God's Love will get the food and nutrition that only we provide," said Karen Pearl, God's Love President and CEO, who added that it has no waiting list and has never turned anyone away who qualifies, so every single dollar helps feed someone.
