"It was non-stop, non-stop and frightening because when was it going to end and if it was going to end," Moore recalled.

He's not alone. That's why NYU Langone Health is launching a program to support nurses who worked tirelessly through the coronavirus.

"The programs are related around health and wellness and fitness, something that I like many other nurses don't do enough of I don't take care of myself in the same way that I would take care of a patient," Moore said.

The funding for that platform Is being fueled in part by the #DanceAndDonateChallenge started by dancer, choreographer and fitness trainer Isaac "Boots" Calpito.

In less than a month he’s raised more than $30,000 for the nurses at NYU Langone Health. He met some of the nurses he’ll be helping by teaching them the dance.

"To think these nurses had to show up everyday, all night and basically had to deal with a crisis," Calpito said.

This isn’t the first time he’s used his Instagram influence to help others. He helped raise more than $1 million late last year by holding donation based workouts benefiting No Kid Hungry. Now his focus in on helping nurses.

"I was like okay what can be the next initiative? What is the next push to and felt that giving back to the nurses giving back to the frontline workers who showed up everyday while we were at home safe," Calpito said.

It's something for which Moore is extremely grateful.

"Someone said we recognize all the things you as a profession have done we really want to help that was lovely," Moore said.
