TEXAS — The votes in Texas were counted and reported quickly on election night. President Donald Trump claimed the state and, by and large, Republicans held onto power in the Lone Star State.
Still, no system is perfect and if you have concerns about your vote having been counted, there is a website you can check.
By entering your name and county into the website txballot.org, you can check the status of your ballot.
The website uses publicly available information from the Secretary of State and is run by the nonprofit, nonpartisan group, Vote America.
The website notes that updating the data will take several days. If you voted early, your information should be available, but if you voted on Election Day, it may not be available yet.
