At the height of the pandemic in the city, New Yorkers took to their stoops and balconies every night at 7 p.m.
Months later, some residents in Brooklyn are continuing to make noise as a way to thank the city's frontline workers.
New York Times' Mara Gay tweeted out this video, saying "Brooklyn still has it."
The "Clap Because We Care" campaign started to run out of steam as the coronavirus crisis in the city abated, and protests over racial injustice surged through the city.
But this group was out on their street corner at the appointed hour to show that New Yorkers still appreciate the hard work of our healthcare and emergency workers during this pandemic.
