A new art exhibit at Rockefeller Center is showcasing New Yorker's love for their city amid the pandemic. It's called the "Flag Project."
193 new flags fly above the ice rink. They feature designs submitted from people across the five boroughs and number of artists -- including Jeff Koons and Christian Siriano -- all celebrating our diverse culture, vibrant energy and resiliency.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. It's on display until August 16th.
For most of the year, the flags surrounding the Rink at Rockefeller Center represent the nations recognized by the United Nations.
