August marks the fifth month of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States. While the positive infection rate in New York City remains low and businesses continue to reopen, things have not returned to normal. Restaurants have lost more than $120 billion in revenue since the city shut down and many workers are still unemployed. Now, business owners are calling on the federal government to include bailout money for restaurants in the next economic stimulus package. Executive Director of the NYC Hospitality Alliance, Andrew Rigie, talked to Cheryl Wills about what needs to be done to save the food service industry.
